Information on the Chinese Courses within the Language Module

The program includes a short Business Chinese course, delivered in collaboration with the Confucius Institute of the University of Naples L’Orientale, which will be held online during the months dedicated to classes (approximately from March to July).

Following the Business Chinese course, delivered in collaboration with the Confucius Institute of the University of Naples L’Orientale, students will attend a four-week advanced Chinese language program at the prestigious Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), one of China’s leading institutions in the fields of languages and international studies.

At SISU, students are placed in classes based on their linguistic level, ensuring effective and personalized learning. Upon completion of the program, an official certificate is issued.

Students may apply for scholarships that cover tuition fees and accommodation in Shanghai, funded by the Chinese government and managed by the Confucius Institute.

To apply, candidates must:

  • hold a valid HSK certificate, or

  • take the HSK exam in the session scheduled between late March and early April 2026 at the Confucius Institute of Naples or other authorized centers in Italy.

Applicants are required to select an HSK level appropriate to their actual skills — even below level 4 — as long as it is consistent with their real chances of success.

Students who, for reasons beyond their control, are not deemed eligible or are not awarded the Confucius Institute scholarship will still be able to receive an equivalent scholarship funded by the Master GMC, thus ensuring access to the learning experience in Shanghai.

The following costs remain the responsibility of the students:

  • travel and living expenses in Shanghai

  • the HSK exam registration fee

Tuition Fee

The total tuition fee for the Master’s program is €4,800, payable in two installments according to the following deadlines:

  • 1st installment €2,400: upon confirmation of enrollment, which corresponds to the official registration for the course;
