Federico Roberto Antonelli is Adjunct Professor of Comparative Private Law at the Roma Tre University.
He is qualified for the second level in the SSD 10/N3 Cultures of Central and Eastern Asia. At the Department of Political Sciences of Roma Tre University, he teaches Fundamentals of Comparative Law and, at the Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Cultures of the same institution, he teaches History of East and Southeast Asia. He also teaches “The Chinese Legal System” (IUS/02) at the Department of Law of the University of Macerata.
He is a member of the Executive Board and a lecturer of the first-level Master’s program in Global Management for China. He is the Rector’s Delegate for relations with universities of the People’s Republic of China for social and linguistic sciences. He is a member of the Scientific-Strategic Committee of AlmaLaurea for the 2020-2023 triennium.
He has been a lecturer in Chinese Law at Sapienza University of Rome and in History and Institutions of East Asia at Roma Tre University. He graduated in Political Science and Law and also obtained a PhD in Comparative Private Law and Private Law of the European Union at the University of Macerata and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Peking University.
He has published numerous essays on Chinese contemporary law and history. For more than ten years, he was Of Counsel at international law and tax firms, assisting Italian and Chinese companies in investment projects and arbitrations. From 2011 to 2019, as an Expert pursuant to art. 168 of DPR 18/1967, he served as Legal Attaché at the Italian Embassy in Beijing.
